That expiration date applies only to redeeming the code. Then they'll show up at the bottom of your inventory, next to your money.Ī: Most SHiFT codes expire, usually after a week or two. And in B元 and Wonderlands, there's a different, more complex, additional step - you enter the SHiFT codes, then go into the game, load into a character / map, hit pause, go to the in-game Social menu, choose the Email tab, find the message for Golden/Diamond (B元) or Skeleton (Wonderlands) Keys, and "accept" the keys from the email. In BL1 and BL2 the Golden Keys should show up the next time you restart the game and visit the Golden Chest in TPS, there's an additional step: go in-game to Concordia's central area, and you'll find the Golden Chest, and a SHiFT kiosk (in front of the elevator to the Merrif's office) - you have to claim the keys from the kiosk, before you can use them in the chest. It's also arguably worth entering them for any platform for which you already have an account (whether or not you even have the hardware), on the odd chance that you may play there someday. BTW, if you use the website, I strongly recommend redeeming for all the games, even if you don't own them all - if you ever get around to playing the other games, you'll find a nice stash of keys waiting for you. Of the two, I would recommend the website, especially on consoles ("typing" with a game controller sucks).
